History and Background
Specializing in Granite and Bronze Memorials
Originally founded in 1929, Clinton Grove Granite Works. Inc., was purchased by the Schroll Family in 1997. David and Ann Schroll provide the same loving care and service as the previous owner, Herman. However, Dave's background is vast, as he originally went to work for this company in 1976, fast becoming the owner's top apprentice. Herman taught Dave the business from the ground up, teaching him a highly skilled trade of stone carving that Herman first learned in Germany. David was taught to take great pride in his work and is one of the last grave marker engravers in the area who can still cut by hand. This skill, along with his artistic drawing ability and over 30 years' experience in the granite industry ensures only the highest quality craftsmanship.
Dave's current apprentices are learning this lost art of granite engraving from a master.
Proprietors Dave and Ann Schroll, along with their nephew Steve, believe in the family touch and that every sale is from "Our Family to Yours." When asked, David stated that he ". . . believes that every memorial from Clinton Grove Granite is the last special gift from the heart of our customers to their loved ones. We treat every customer like their loss is our own." Working with Clinton Grove Granite Works ensures that you will create the best lasting tribute possible for your loved ones.
